Love in Green(2016) was an installation art piece in NYU Shanghai academic building.
My co-producer and I found out that the building’s dominated colors are grey, white and brown. We intended to bring more natural elements to the campus and encourage people to go out and interact with the natural environment.
We pixelized the hand gesture, which means “I love you!”. We then mapped it with random green square, stick on the wall in between the first and second floor of the building, where most people could see when they entered the buildings.
NYUSHers loved the idea and started imitating the gestures!
